Zankhana Shah, Head of Money Care Financial Planning is a Chartered Accountant and the first practicing woman financial planner having the mark of CFP®.

She is a Director of Haven Financial Securities Ltd, a member of the Bombay Stock Exchange, the National Stock Exchange and Haven Comtrade Pvt. Ltd, a member of commodity exchange, MCX and NCDEX. This family-owned company provides services ranging from Depository services and Share and Stock Broking to Derivatives and Commodities services.

 Before starting her own financial planning company, Zankhana Shah worked as a systems consultant in DTTI, one of the leading Chartered Accountant Firms in India , and has served companies such as Reliance Ltd, Jet Airways, Elbee Courier and more.

QUALIFICATIONS

Zankhana Shah belongs to the pioneer group of Indian Financial Planners who received their CFP® certificate at the first ever ceremony in Mumbai in March 2005.

She is a qualified chartered accountant (1997) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India , and is a B.Com. Graduate from Mumbai University 1996.

 Her other qualifications include a diploma in BAAN Enterprises Resource Planning Package (ERP), a certificate from NITIE, Powai (1998), an AMFI certificate for mutual fund distribution, and an IRDA certificate for selling Life / General Policies.

She also holds a certificate for selling small saving schemes and has attended courses on information & systems management.

 Besides the above mentioned professional & academic achievements, Zankhana Shah also has to her credit the following:

• She is a member of the Capital Market Committee of Indian Merchant Chambers, one of the oldest and most respected business chambers in India

• She has lectured as a faculty member to CFP® Education Providers

• She has written articles related to Financial Planning in leading business newspapers such as Hindustan Times, Times of India , Financial Express, Outlook Money, and websites such as www.moneycontrol.com and more.

• She has lead seminars as Head Speaker in various business chambers & in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
